Refund Policy

Overview

This policy covers refunds for paid engagements with Panel Sequoiahub Mining Review Co., Ltd. Our services include equipment selection reviews, site feasibility assessments, and multi-site deployment planning.

Deposit and Payment Structure

Engagements require a 50% deposit upon confirmation. The remaining 50% is due upon report delivery. Deposits are invoiced in KRW via bank transfer.

Full Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund of your deposit if:

  • We cancel the engagement due to engineer unavailability and cannot reschedule within 30 days
  • We determine during intake that your project falls outside our service scope and notify you before any site visit occurs

Partial Refund Eligibility

Partial refunds apply in these situations:

  • Before site visits: If you cancel after engagement confirmation but before any site visit, we refund 70% of the deposit. The remaining 30% covers administrative and scheduling costs.
  • After site visits, before report delivery: If you cancel after one or more site visits but before report delivery, we refund 40% of total fees paid. Site visit costs are non-recoverable.
  • Report revision disputes: If you request revisions beyond the scope defined in the engagement letter, additional fees apply. The original report fee is not refundable once the first draft is delivered.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refund:

  • Site visit fees once the visit has been completed
  • Rush delivery surcharges if the report was delivered within the expedited timeline
  • Annual hardware catalogue subscriptions after the first quarterly update has been delivered
  • Travel expenses incurred for site visits in remote locations, if invoiced separately

Refund Process

  1. Email info@panel-sequoiahub.click with your engagement reference number and reason for the refund request
  2. We acknowledge within 3 business days
  3. Approved refunds are processed via bank transfer within 14 business days
  4. Refunds are issued to the original payer’s bank account only

Cancellation by Client

You may cancel an engagement at any time by written notice. Refund amounts follow the eligibility rules above based on the stage of work completed.

Rescheduling

Site visits may be rescheduled once at no charge if requested at least 5 business days before the scheduled date. Subsequent rescheduling or cancellations within 48 hours of a site visit incur a ₩300,000 rebooking fee deducted from any applicable refund.

No-Shows

If our engineer arrives at a scheduled site visit and access is not provided, the visit is charged in full and no refund is issued for that visit. A replacement visit requires a new scheduling fee.

Work Already Started

Once report writing has begun (defined as the first internal draft), the engagement fee is non-refundable except where we fail to deliver within the agreed timeline by more than 15 business days without prior notice.

Purchased Materials

We do not sell physical products. If future services include physical deliverables (printed reports, data loggers left on-site), damaged or lost materials are replaced at cost; the service fee portion remains subject to the refund rules above.
